Bad News for the Victoria Generals, who fell for the second game in a row last night to the Brazos Valley Bombers by a score of 3-2.

All the scoring for the Bombers happened in the 2nd inning, and the Generals did manage to get a couple of runs in the 1st and the 5th, but Bombers pitcher Zach Girrens was in control, going 6 innings, giving up 2 runs on 5 hits, and hurling 7 strikeouts.

The Generals return home to Riverside Stadium tonight to take on the Woodland Strykers.

Tonight is Alzheimer’s awareness night at the ball park, so come out in your purple gear. The game is set to kick off at 7:05.

Go Generals!
