Thirty two categories worth of Big Daddy Awards nominees were announced this week, for the virtual awards show that serves as a fundraiser and public service announcement for prostate awareness. Gene Simmons, Bono and Jon Bon Jovi are just a few of the rockers nominated for awards like the “Do Gooder Big Daddy” and the “All Time Reality TV Big Daddy.”

Ozzy Osbourne joins the Kiss lead singer in the latter category. Steven Tyler joins Bon Jovi in the “Rock On Big Daddy” category. Men from every genre of music, sport and form of entertainment are nominated in this fan-supported award show (download the full list of nominees here). You can vote at BigDaddyAwards.com through June 17.

No donation is needed to vote, although numerous celebs are encouraging fans to help the On the Line Foundation in honor of a father or a loved one. “It’s great to be a macho man and a tough guy,” Arnold Palmer a golfer and “On the Line — Prostate Cancer Survivor Big Daddy” nominee said. “But it’s even greater to get some good advice and do something about it (prostate cancer).”

The results will be announced on June 18, the day after Father’s Day. “Bringing a touch of entertainment and humor together during a time that celebrates dads is really rewarding,” Michael Burg, cancer survivor and show creator said in a press release. “Our ultimate goal is to rally the public to help find a cure for a disease that strikes one out of every six men.”

The On The Line Foundation raises funds to support prostate cancer education programs and research initiatives for finding a cure for the disease.
