Just after the Victoria Generals took possession of 1st place in the Texas Collegiate League baseball standings, the Brazos Valley Bombers came on strong to take the 2nd game of the series 6-0.

The Generals pitching struggled, and the hitters couldn't get much going either in the loss, despite Alvaro Rondon, who went two for three with two singles, a walk and two stolen bases. J.B. Moss, another General stood out going two for four with a double in the 4th inning and a single in the 9th to lead off.

The Generals take one of two in this series and move back down to second place in the TCL standings with this loss. Next up for the Generals, a 2-game home stand against the Texas Marshals starting tonight at Riverside Stadium.

Go Generals!
