Just one day after announcing that they will reunite for a 26-date world tour in 2013, the Black Crowes have released more details about the hotly-anticipated trek, as well as news of an upcoming live album.

The band, consisting of Chris Robinson (lead vocals, guitar), Rich Robinson (guitar, vocals), Steve Gorman (drums), Sven Pipien (bass) and Adam MacDougall (keyboards), announced the addition of "our good friend Jackie Greene” on guitar and vocals in a press release Wednesday (Dec. 26). They are scheduled to kick off the first leg of their tour on March 24 in Manchester, England. The reunion trek is scheduled to run through May 4, when it wraps up in New Orleans.

The Crowes will also release a new live album titled 'Wiser for the Time' on March 19 via Silver Arrow/Megaforce Records. Recorded at their five-night, sold-out New York City performances in the fall of 2010, the project will be available as a double album digital download as well as a four-album vinyl collection. The set consists of 26 songs --15 of which feature acoustic arrangements, while the other 11 are full-blown electric versions.

As a Christmas gift to their fans, the band is also currently offering a free mobile web app via their website. It includes a free download of the acoustic version of 'Under a Mountain' from the 2012 NYC live shows. The track is exclusive and will not be included on 'Wiser for the Time.'
