‘Birding’ in Aransas National Wildlife Refuge Among the Best in the USA

If you like bird watching, also known as 'Birding', Aransas National Wildlife Refuge is the place to go and, in fact, it's one of the 20 Best Places for Birding in the United States.

Aransas National Wildlife Refuge is the winter home of the only self-sustaining whooping crane flock in the world.

According to a press release from USA Today, the refuge came in 5th in the category in 2014 in the newspaper's Reader's Choice Awards. Big Bend National Park in west Texas is also in the running this year. Voting is on for this year, and runs through 11:00 am on Monday.  You can vote here.
