Best SNL Skit of the Year…..And Sadly, It Never Aired.

Nowadays, NBC's Saturday Night Live seems to draw more critics than fans (Although they were pretty spot on during the election months).

Now don't get me wrong, I like SNL.  Although I am more of a fan of the old SNL (Steve Martin, Dan Aykroyd, Chevy Chase all the way through Mike Myers, Chris Farley and Dana Carvey), the new cast tries very hard and every once in awhile, hits a home run.

One thing I do NOT like is Guy Fieri.  You know the guy, pushing 50, bleach blonde hair, pinky rings, wears his sunglasses backwards, talks like he's a teenage douchebag from the 90's....oh yeah, he also hosts a show on The Food Network called Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives....yeah, THAT guy.

Well during dress rehearsals over the weekend, SNL decided to bring back alum Kevin Moynihan to portray the over-the-top self proclaimed "chef" during the popular Weekend Update with Seth Meyers.  Although the skit garnered a ton of laughs, for whatever reason, SNL decided not to use it in the final show.  I wish they would have....we need to draw attention to the douchebaggery that is Guy Fieri.  However, they did release the video of the skit during rehearsals and I present it to you for your enjoyment.
