The Dallas Cowboys’ franchise wide receiver left Sunday night’s game against the New York Giants due to dehydration issues, but would return. He left again in the fourth quarter with a foot injury that turned out to be pretty severe.

Bryant broke a bone in his right foot and according to Cowboys owner Jerry Jones will require surgery and a screw in his foot. Also, according to Jones he'll only miss 3-4 weeks....wishful thinking Jerry. Bryant is more likely to miss 4-6 weeks.

There are other options for Romo to throw to. Cole Beasley and Jason Witten are both healthy and legitimate threats. And you can always throw to Terrence Williams in a pinch but without your star wide out the options are kind of limited. The Cowboys barely squeaked by the Giants last night in a game they should have run away with. Perhaps wide receiver is not what they really need to work on this week in practice.

We'll have to wait and see if Bryant's injury hinders the Cowboys or if Tony Romo is as adaptable as they say.
