‘Saturday Night Live‘ alum Will Ferrell returned to the stage this weekend to host one of the comedy show’s more eventful episodes. Being that the cast reached its 100th digital short marker and the second-to-last week before the season finale, it was only fair that Ferrell brought back one of his most iconic impersonations — George W. Bush.
Patricia Krentcil made headlines last week after she was accused of sneaking her 5-year-old daughter into a tanning booth. So, naturally ‘Saturday Night Live‘ had to have Kristen Wiig spoof her on the Weekend Update. The question is, did she pull through the whole skit without cracking a laugh?
In celebration of Bravo’s relatively new show ‘Shahs of Sunset,’ which is basically a mash-up of the ‘Real Housewives’ series with ‘Jersey Shore,’ Sofia Vergara helped ‘Saturday Night Live’ put together a spoof skit that perfectly embodied the new series and the network’s official reality-show interviewer Andy Cohen.
Have you ever taken home store-bought pizza like DiGiorno and had a revelation that maybe, just maybe what you’re eating is not actual pizza? Of course you have. Everyone has, which is why we can all relate to ‘Saturday Night Live‘s’ “Almost” Pizza commercial.
Whitney Houston touched so many lives across generations with her music and passionate performances, which is why we’re still looking for that ultimate tribute that can truly pay homage to the iconic singer. What would it be like if Cee Lo Green and Matthew McConaughey got freaky on the beach together (and by “freaky” we mean drinking wheat grass and masculine smoothies, of course)? To answer this question, ‘Saturday Night Live‘ had to give Cee Lo his own talk show and dress Channing Tatum up as the laid-back sex symbol.
Whenever we hear the phrase, “To infinity and beyond,” we automatically think of Buzz Lightyear, that brave little action figure from the ‘Toy Story‘ movies with the heart of gold. Now, thanks to the creativity of 3D artist Raoni Nery from Brazil, we have something a little bit more realistic to look up to.
