The Houston Astros just cannot seem to find an answer for the Texas Rangers and that streak continued Tuesday evening.

In what was an exciting game, the two clubs each had scored 5 runs by the 5th inning and that's where the score stayed until the bottom of the 9th.

The Rangers scored the 6th and final run on a sacrifice fly ball to center field. Securing their place in first place of the American League West by half a game.

Not sure if or when the Astros batting and pitching are going to get on the same page during a game as it seems one is hot while the other suffers....it's never consistent and let's face it, that doesn't win championships.

But, alas it's September. It's always a nail biter this time of year but someone needs to wake the Astros up and tell them what month it is. There's only 23 games left in the season....now is not the time to fall apart.

We shall see.

The Stros have 2 more games left in Arlington but meet the Rangers again for 3 games in Houston this coming week. Hopefully they can gain some more ground. Time will tell.
