Gurriel had 3 hits in the game, and the Astros added to their division lead of 4&1/2 games over the Seattle Mariners. Houston has won 15 out of their last 17 games. Pitcher Gerrit Cole threw 8 strikeouts in the 5 innings he worked, upping his record to 9-1 on the season.
