Asking Alexandria Set August Release Date for New Album

Asking Alexandria are making a quick turnaround with their next album, having recently revealed 'From Death to Destiny' as the title and now setting an Aug. 6 street date for the release.

The veteran rockers toured deep into 2012 on their 2011 release 'Reckless & Relentless,' but found time after last summer's Mayhem Festival to finish writing for their next release.

After frontman Danny Worsnop had surgery to repair a vocal cord tear that shut down the band's final trek of 2012, the band eventually entered the studio to start laying down some of the material that would become their new 'From Death to Destiny' album.

Earlier this year, the band gave fans their first taste of the upcoming release by debuting the song 'The Death of Me.' The band has been touring throughout the spring and will wrap their current tour leg this coming Saturday (May 25) at the Rocklahoma festival.
