Bello Maasaba is what you might call a ladies' man.

Maasaba is an Islamic faith healer in Niger who has married 107 women and fathered a whopping 185 children. Polygamy is common in the African country, but Maasaba's tally is high even by that nation’s standards.

Maasaba explains his penchant for tying the knot to the Los Angeles Times by saying, "I get a revelation from God telling me any woman I'm going to marry. If it wasn't from God, I wouldn't have gone beyond two."

Maasaba, whose age in unclear, also said his decision to take a couple of dozen women to be his better half came after the archangel Gabriel visited him and told him to go into faith healing and marry a boatload of ladies.

Not everyone appreciates Maasaba, who shacks up with his wives in a four-story 89-room house. He once spent 22 days in jail on charges he violated Islamic law, which generally caps the acceptable number of wives at four. He was eventually released after 57 of his ball and chains testified on his behalf.
