Rush, the band affectionately known as "Canada's Power Trio" is remastering their album "Vapor Trails."

According to an interview with guitarist Alex Lifeson in Classic Rock Magazine, the band was never happy with the production on the album, partially because it took so long to finish it.

Lifeson went on to say they regretted not devoting more time to it, but at 14 months to finish it, it became the most amount of time ever spent on a Rush album.  No word on when the remastered version will be out, but no new material is expected to be added to it.

On a related note, this week marks the 30th anniversary of the band's iconic "Moving Pictures" album release, and you can hear a special 2 hour retrospective this weekend. We'll bring you the album in it's entirety, plus conversation with all 3 band members, and some live material from that time period. The album was released in 1981. The special airs Sunday night at 6:30 on 106.9, The Rock.
