Victoria Man Thinks Dollar General Should Have a Drive Thru.

No one was hurt after a car crashed into the Dollar General in the 1600 block of North Navarro Street on Monday afternoon.

Mitchell Walters, 57, of Victoria, pulled into the business' parking lot in his white Ford Crown Victoria about 1:30 p.m.

He said he was there to buy some peppermints when his foot slipped off the brake and hit the accelerator.

His vehicle hit some yellow shopping carts at the front of the store. They broke the glass, which caused damage to at least one window valued at $1,000, said Victoria Police Officer Brandon Allen.

Walters was not issued a ticket because....well I'm not too sure why not.  Had that been me, I would have been given a ticket, breathalyzer, cavity search the works.  Being old has it's advantages I guess.

Anyone else notice how close the propane tanks are?  Dude was lucky.
